Privacy notice
This notice explains what we collect when you use the DAVE website, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We follow Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 and, for visitors in the EU, the GDPR.
What we collect

Your email address is remembered in your own browser so you are not asked again. Clearing your browser data removes it.
Where it is kept
On DAVE Lab's own DAVE server. The answers are produced by our own AI model on our own hardware. We do not sell your information or share it for advertising. We may use service providers we choose for hosting and notifications (for example a team chat that receives new questions and sign-ups), only to run this website. When we erase your data, we also delete copies in those notifications.
How long
Chat records, community sign-ups and pre-orders that did not go ahead are deleted automatically 24 months after they were made (for a pre-order, after its last update), or sooner if you ask us. Once a pre-order is invoiced or paid it becomes a sales record, which we keep for as long as tax and accounting law requires, even if you ask us to delete your other data.
We never ask for card or bank details on this website. Payment is arranged with you directly after we confirm your order.
Your choices
- Ask to see the information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct it, or to delete it. We will confirm when it is done.
- Stop community emails at any time.
